Cheryl is a 34 year veteran teacher of Physical Education. She graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and later earned her Master's in Physical Education from Drury University. Cheryl taught 20 years of high school in Missouri and served as the President of the Ozark National Education Association for five of those twenty years. She moved to Arizona in 1997 and quickly became involved in the MDCTA as a site representative and SPC chair. Cheryl was elected to the MDCTA Presidency in 2001. Cheryl is also a member of the Interest Based Negotiations Team and the Certified Compensation Committee.
Vice President: Lindsay Farr This is Lindsay's first year to serve as VP. She has served on the executive board as a member at large and has been as active association member since her first day in the Madison District. She has attended the AEA Leadership Academy and is eager to represent the Madison members.
Communications Manager: Mary Konczal Mary serves MDCTA in two capacities. As
the Communications Manager, she is responsible for communication on the MDCTA
website. She also serves as Madison Park's Site Leader. Mary
teaches 8th grade science. She is originally from Ohio, the buckeye state.
Recording Secretary: Michele Rutin
Michele teaches 1st grade at Rose Lane. This is her second year serving on the MDCTA Executive Board.
Members at Large: Chris Hoon is in her first year on the MDCTA Executive Board. She currently teaches 2nd grade at Simis.
Yolanda Abel is in her tenth year at Madison
Camelview. She currently teaches 2nd grade. Yolanda has been a Site Leader, served on the District
Professional Council and has served on the Interest Based Negotiations

Madison Camelview Elementary School:
Nicole Quesada Nicole is a 2nd grade teacher at Camelview. She has been teaching for five years and this is her second year as the Camelview Site Leader.
Madison Heights Elementary School:

John is currently teaching Spanish in the Madison Foreign Language program at Heights. John is in his second year as Site Leader at Heights.
Madison Traditional Academy:
Amy Ball This is Amy's second year as the Site Leader of MTA. She currently teaches Kindergarten.
Madison Simis:
Victoria Coughlin
Victoria returns to Simis as their Site Leader after two years. She currently teaches Kindergarten.
Madison Rose Lane: Suzanne Hofman and Ellen Cassidy
This is Suzanne and Ellen's first year to represent Rose Lane teacher's as their co-Site Leaders.
Madison Meadows Middle School: Anna Andrews is a 7th and 8th Social Studies teacher who is in her first year in Madison and first year as Site Leader.
Madison #1 Middle School:
Lisa Vaaler
Lisa is native to Phoenix and has been teaching 6th grade science and social studies at Madison #1 for ten years. In addition to being a Site Leader she is also the advisor for #1's Environmental Club.
Madison Park Middle School:
Mary Konczal
This is Mary's third year serving as Site Leader for Park School. She received her Site Leader certification from AEA on Novemeber 14, 2009. She also holds the office of Communication Manager on the executive board. Mary teaches 8th grade science. She is in her seventh year teaching. A transplant from corporate America where she spent 20+ years in materials management.
